Marrakech completely stole my heart. I spent four days wandering the souks in the Medina, getting pleasantly lost every single time. The smell of spices, leather, and orange blossom hits you the moment you step outside. I stayed in a small riad near Jemaa el-Fnaa and drank mint tea on the rooftop every evening watching the sun set over the rooftops. Coming back for sure.

What struck me most was the color, every wall, tile, and doorway in Marrakech feels like a piece of art. I did a day trip to the Atlas Mountains which was breathtaking, and spent an afternoon at the Majorelle Garden, that shade of blue is unforgettable. The people were warm and the whole city just feels alive.

I've traveled a lot, but nothing prepared me for the energy of Jemaa el-Fnaa at night, snake charmers, food stalls, storytellers, musicians, all in one square. The food alone is worth the trip: tagines, fresh orange juice for pennies, and the best grilled meat I've ever had at the night market. Marrakech is chaotic in the best possible way.
